Fast growing and versatile, industrial hemp has been, historically, one of the most widely used materials in the world. Before its prohibition, industrial hemp was one of the premier textiles in the United States. Now that it has been legalized, the potential for hemp fabrics and clothes are endless.
In an effort to bring domestic hemp production back to the United States, we are working with the North Carolina textile belt to grow, discord, cottonize, and produce shirts with hemp grown right here in the United States. Our goal is to create an efficient production sequence for end products manufactured in America, from materials produced in America, and derived from sources grown right here in America. More details to come.
